  • The Policy Department C, at the request of the Committee on Legal Affairs, commissioned a study and analysis of the concept of information technology and the existing legal framework on civil liability.  It demonstrates how technology regulation should be technology-specific and presents an approach where the party who is best capable of controlling the risks associated with the technology is strictly responsible.   • The European Commission adopts the Assessment List for Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (ALTAI). This is a check list for companies and organizations to self-assess the reliability of the artificial intelligence systems they develop. Creators will be able to present the AI without exposing themselves to unnecessary risks.
